The SPIE Chapter workshop "Young researchers in photonics" will be held on December 10th starting from 1.45 p.m. in the room A106 (Polo F. Ferrari, Povo).

It is our pleasure to announce the SPIE Chapter workshop "Young researchers in photonics” 2021.

Photonics studies photons and their interaction with matter, both in terms of fundamental and applied research. The aim of this science is the understanding of the phenomena ruling the behaviour of photons, in order to boost the development of novel technologies and applications based on light. In this sense, photonics is a key enabling technology, with its central role in many fields of science such as: sensing, telecommunication, quantum physics, machine learning and biology.

The workshop will be accessible to a broad audience.
