The SPIE Chapter workshop "Young researchers in photonics: quantum dots" will be held on December 14th starting from 4.30 p.m. in the room A105 (Polo F. Ferrari, Povo).
It is our pleasure to announce the SPIE Chapter workshop "Quantum Dots” 2023.
Photonics studies photons and their interaction with matter, both in terms of fundamental and applied research. The aim of this science is the understanding of the phenomena ruling the behaviour of photons, in order to boost the development of novel technologies and applications based on light. In this sense, photonics is a key enabling technology, with its central role in many fields of science such as: sensing, telecommunication, quantum physics, machine learning and biology.
This workshop focuses on the topic of quantum dots, an extremely topical issue of great interest in scientific and technological research.
The workshop will be accessible to a broad audience.
