We are pleased to announce that from March 14 to 25 , 2023 Prof. Jānis Alnis and PhDs Lāse Mīlgrāve and Kristians Draguns of Quantum Optics Laboratory Institute of Atomic Physics and Spectroscopy University of Latvia in Riga will be our guests.
Prof. Alnis will hold a seminar supported by SPIE-Student Chapter, in which he will present their laboratory results in whispering gallery mode WGM optical micro-resonators for sensors.
The title of the seminar will be "Whispering gallery mode resonators for sensors and kerr combs",
it will be held on Tuesday, March 21 at 2 p.m. at Povo 1 Via Sommarive No. 9 in Room A204.
Participation is open to all , we look forward to seeing you there!
We are happy to welcome Federica Zanardi a master's student in Organization, Society and Technology of the Department of Sociology and Social Research. Federica will conduct her master's thesis research on organizational studies in the laboratory setting and she chose to do her research in the Nanoscience lab. Good luck with your thesis project!
